Textile industry: further promote energy conservation and emission reduction during the 12th Five Year Plan
according to the outline of the 12th Five Year Plan for national economic and social development (Draft), during the 12th Five Year Plan period, the proportion of non fossil energy in China's primary energy consumption will be increased to 11.4%, the energy consumption per unit of GDP and carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 16% and 17% respectively, and the total emission of major pollutants will be reduced by 8%-10%
Xiongxiaokun, a light industry researcher of CIC, pointed out that China's textile industry has a large number of enterprises, and the energy consumption and pollutant emissions of the industry are large. At present, it has been listed as a key pollutant industry in China, and has developed rich energy-saving schemes from various angles. Therefore, China's textile industry has great potential in energy conservation and emission reduction. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, to complete the energy conservation and emission reduction targets in the 12th Five Year Plan Outline for national economic and social development (Draft), China's textile industry needs to work hard in accelerating industrial restructuring, strengthening technological independent innovation, improving the comprehensive utilization of resources, and the company plans to build its global R & D center in Shanghai for the recycling of waste resourcesaccording to relevant data, the energy consumption of China's textile industry accounts for about 4.4% of the total industrial energy consumption of the country; Water consumption accounts for about 8.5% of the total industrial water consumption in China; Wastewater discharge accounts for about 10% of the total industrial wastewater discharge in China. Among them, the annual wastewater discharge of printing and dyeing and chemical fiber industry is more than 2.6 billion tons, which is an important field of energy conservation and emission reduction in China's textile industry
Zhang Yanlin, director of CIC advisory research, pointed out that at present, the low-carbon economy has become the main trend of the world economic development, and the multi-functional experimental software package: potential. In order to promote the development of domestic low-carbon economy, China is also gradually strengthening its efforts to save energy and reduce emissions. However, at present, the utilization rate of advanced production equipment in the domestic textile industry is low, and the investment in energy conservation and emission reduction of some enterprises is insufficient. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the energy conservation and emission reduction of China's textile industry needs to be further promoted
the report on investment analysis and prospect prediction of China's textile industry in released by CIC consultants shows that China's textile industry is characterized by high labor intensity, high external dependence, low product standards, backward technology and equipment, and serious environmental pollution. Its sub industries mainly include cotton textile, linen textile, wool textile, textile knitting, silk, chemical fiber, printing and dyeing, etc. Among them, the printing and dyeing industry is the main source of sewage discharge from China's textile industry. At present, about 60% of the sewage discharge from China's textile industry comes from the printing and dyeing industry
